• Define the technological strategy with the development team for all projects: pipeline, tools, and key development procedures.

• Responsible for the technical scope of work document for all projects. This includes the breakdown of the project to modules: modules to task, etc…

• Delegation of tasks to the correct teams / members.

• Task timeline estimation for each team member.

• Responsible for overall development deadlines.

• Assesses technical risk and mitigation plan.

• Establishes standards and procedures to track and measure project’s progress.

• Evaluates development team(s), identifying strengths, problem areas, and developing plans for improving performance.

• Evaluates interview candidates for technical positions.

• Scouts for and evaluates new technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence.

• Pre-production: Oversees technical design documentation process for correctness and timeliness.

• Evaluates software implementation on design and task thoroughness.

• Identifies weak software systems that need code improvement and schedules corrective action, when possible.

• Creates automated test process for system features, where possible, and contributes to the build system.

• Makes sure that all projects abide by proper international development guidelines.

• Coordinate all work with the Creative Director and project manager.

• Reports to CEO.

Requirements

Familiarity with the LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

2+ years experience in Object Oriented programming in PHP

2+ years experience with MySQL

Must have expertise in coding MVC design patterns

Experience with codeigniter Framework is a plus

Fluent in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery and AJAX technologies

Expertise with apache configuration, load balancing and caching technologies is a plus

Proven experience in troubleshooting and solving complex problems

Must demonstrate good communications skills
